Great way to use the acceptable Days Method- Not the rhythm method!! : Cycle Beads for Ovulation Prediction
First of all, I can't believe there are some habitancy on here that are absolutely giving this product a one star characterize because they think it's the rhythm method. These are Not the rhythm method, they are based on the acceptable Days Method, which has been scientifically tested and proven to 95% effective. If those habitancy were smart enough to absolutely Read the data with the product, they might know this (but of procedure they probably have never used the product, so how could they read the manual?).
This is an easy way to implement a natural birth control formula in your life. You can keep it by your bed and your partner is able to absolutely see what day you are on. There are distinct guidelines you must follow for this formula to work- be sure to read all of the instructions. I use a formula taught in Your Fertility Signals: Using Them to perform or Avoid reproduction Naturally to regulate my cycles.
Keep in mind that if you use a back up formula on the fertile days, then you are basically using that method, not the cycle beads (if you use a sponge for example, which is only about 80% effective, then it's no longer 95%, effective, it's only 80%). I use the resignation formula on fertile days which is also about 95-96% effective, so it's basically the same. I like that I don't have to take hormones or use any fence methods.
On a personal note, I don't absolutely recommend this formula if you are absolutely needing to avoid pregnancy. In my case, when I was in college I was whether on the pill or used a condom. I needed something that was very productive because I absolutely did not want to get pregnant at that time. Now that I am older I am comfortable using a formula that's a limited less effective. Use your own judgement to resolve whether this formula is right for you.
